1. The First Step:  Install MINIX and Learn vi editor.

Your job is to
• Create a directory, name it as your last name.
• Get into your own directory.
• Use vi editor to type the file, problem 6 on page 149.
• Change to execution mode and run it.  First, run it in foreground and debug the syntax errors.  Then, run two processes concurrently.
I will check your work later as long as you tell me which computer you used.  This is one of grades for your class.

The second exam will be on Thursday, December 5th.
