1. Start Power point
2. Select "Blank Presentation"
3. You will be prompted to create a new slide

Choose the kind you want.
For this time, you will use the title slide (highlighted by default)
4. Change the color scheme
-
Go to the Format menu and select
Apply Design Template
-
Pick the one you like best (a
preview of each one shows up to the right)
5. Click on the title space and type your title
6. Click on the Subtitle space and type a subtitle
(by your name)
7. Add another slide
-
Go to the insert menu and select
New Slide
-
Select the layout you desire
8. To change slide layout
-
Go to the Format menu and select
slide layout
9. To change Fonts, Sizes and Appearance
-
Select desired test
-
Use big "A" Button to Enlarge,
small "A" Button to reduce
-
Use bold, italics,
underline, font style, and size to modify as desired
10. To set transitions
-
Go to Slide Show menu and select
Slide Transition
-
Modify as desired, apply (for
this slide only) or apply to all (for all slides)
11. To import clip art or graphics
-
Go to Insert Menu, select Picture,
then Clip Art (for clip art) or From File (for graphics you have yourself)
12. To view the slide show
-
Click on Slide show icon at
bottom left or go to Slide Show menu and select View Show
